2/3/12: FHS AD team earns many individual awards at Regional competition

FHS Academic Decathlon teams received first place for 16 years of competition (from 1993-2008).

Prestigious awards were given recently to FHS artists competing in the Houston Livestock and Rodeo School Art Competition which took place at The Arts Alliance of Clear Lake (TAACL) on January 11.

Students had an opportunity to become a member of a Caddo, Jumano, Karankawa, and Lipan Apache tribes.  Then the tribe members created an Indian village representing the life of their tribe.

ATTENTION Athletes: FISD does NOT provide medical insurance for students that participate in interscholastic athletics. If you need insurance or if you would like supplemental coverage, it can be obtained through the school for a set fee by an independent insurance company. The optional policy is secondary unless primary insurance is nonexistent. The benefits received are related to the plan purchased. Complete information is available in a flyer, which can be picked up at your campus.
