This Saturday, April 24, is the FHS Sports Medicine Flamingo Day.
        This annual fundraiser is part of the sports medicine area that is selling flamingos for $5 and flamingo insurance for $25.
        Sports medicine members send a flamingo or several to the person for whom friends purchased items.. They place the flamingo in their yard, knock on the door and let them know that they have been "Flamingoed."

        The people receiving a flamingo can then either say "Thank you" and the students move on, or they can send the flamingo back to the sender and/or send them on to someone else. If no one is home when members stop by, they will leave the flamingo for a while along with their calling card. 
        They also offer "Flamingo Insurance" if someone does not want to see the lovely pink birds in their yard.
