The Lady Mustang JV Swim team took first place at the District 24-4A JV Swim Meet on January 30. The Friendswood JV girls scored 183 points to beat Angleton’s JV girls who scored 64.

           JV Lady Mustang Gold Medal winners include the following:  200 Medley Relay A – Briahna Yarberry, Morgan Bluth, Sarah Marr and Marisa Boyle; 200 Free – Sarah Marr;  200 IM – Morgan Bluth;  50 Free – Marisa Boyle; 100 Fly – Natalie Merrifield; 100 Free – Marisa Boyle;  200 Free Relay A – Morgan Bluth, Marisa Boyle, Sarah Marr and  Briahna Yarberry;  100 Back – Jennifer Nguyen and  100 Breast – Sarah Marr.
            Silver medal winners include the following: 200 Medley Relay B – Jennifer Nguyen, Ryann Hall, Natalie Merrifield, and Vanessa Martinez; 200 Free – Briahna Yarberry;  50 Free – Natalie Merrifield; 100 Free – Vanessa Martinez;  200 Free Relay B – Ryann Hall, Natalie Merrifield, Jennifer Nguyen, and  Shalini Chatterjee; 100 Back – Briahna Yarberry; and 100 Breast – Morgan Bluth.
            Bronze medalists include the following:  50 Free – Ryann Hall; 100 Back – Vanessa Martinez; and 100 Breast – Jennifer Nguyen.
           It was a very successful season finale for the FHS Junior Varsity Swim Team!
