The Friendswood Junior High Concert Choir and Mustang Chorus, as well as three soloists, traveled to Angleton High School recently to compete in the UIL Vocal Solo & Ensemble Contest.

Regan Hughes received the highest possible rating of superior on her solo, earning a medal for her achievement.
The Mustang Chorus, with 10 seventh and eighth grade singers, performed three selections, including one a cappella piece. They received a rating of excellent for their performance.
Mustang Chorus members are Chris Bates, Troy Beckman, Eric Delahoussaye, Dorian Etter, Dee Faught, Bradley Goodwin, Blake Higgs, Marshall Hoskins, Austin Melis, and Will Timme.
The Concert Choir, with 11 seventh and eighth grade singers, performed three selections, including one in Latin and one a cappella piece. They received the highest possible rating of superior, earning medals for their performance.
Concert Choir members are Devin Alms, Marissa Froneberger, Mackenzie Henderson, Kirsten Hill, Merin John, Annica Marcuccio, Mackenzie Martin-George, Kaylee Myatt, Elisa Rodriguez, Sami Sauer, and Esther Segrera.
