Friendswood Junior High Drama Department held its annual ITS (International Thespian Society) Spring induction ceremony.
        Current and newly inducted ITS members include Karen Wade, Katelyn Weatherford, Julia Conger, Alexus Balckmon, Joseph Thomas, Amy Peryam, Merritt Rowley, Zachary Taylor, Gatlin Lowe, Otto Nedelkovich, Michael Presley, Coleman Oubre, Kayla Archer, Lucinda Culver, Katherine Harclerode, Sydney Manning, Kenyatta Gibbs, Carly Kemp, Daniel Miniot, Madeleine Tiemann, Emily Davis, Kristin Annan, and Elise Adams.

        The Theatre Department at Friendswood Junior High recently finished their busy Spring semester by performing two class plays (Theatre Arts I and Theatre Arts II), a campus Variety Show that showcased over 50 students, and inducted 12 new students into the International Thespian Society.
        These students joined the 22 other students who were initiated in the Fall semester. 
        All of these students have shown a dedication and excellence in educational Theatre, according to teacher/sponsor Lana Garcia.
        This semester's new inductees were Jack Read, Alexus Blackmon, Zachary Taylor, Michael Presley, Katherine Harclerode, Lucinda Culver, Carly Kemp, Otto Nedelkovich, Amy Peryam, Sydney Manning, Merritt Rowley, and Kenyatta Gibbs.  Theatre teachers and ITS sponsers are Garcia and Amanda Hartley.
