The 2009 REGION XVII JH/MS Choir has 25 members and two alternates that are choir students at Friendswood Junior High. The good news was announced after 44 FJH choir students auditioned October 10 at Clear Creek Intermediate School.
     The following students were announced winners:

Soprano 1:
Natasha Wroblewski, 1st Chair Mixed; Keri Palmer, 5th Chair Mixed; Janae Bonnen, 3rd Chair Treble; Carly Smith, 4th Chair Treble; Esther Segrera, 5th Chair Treble; Leila Johnson, 6th Chair Treble; and Kelly Pitman, 10th Chair Treble.
Soprano 2:
Nita Ortiz, 5th Chair Mixed; Jenny Plackemeier, 7th Chair Mixed; Madison Milner, 4th Chair Treble; Cassie Nagle, 4th Chair Treble; and Gabrielle Ruffeno, 8th Chair Treble.
Alto:
Lucinda Culver, 1st Chair Mixed; Regan Hughes, 2nd Chair Mixed, Nikki Collins, 6th Chair Mixed; Jillian Strickland, 6th Chair Mixed; Hannah Tamplain, 8th Chair Mixed; Holly Valore, 11th Chair Mixed; Katherine Ferrazi, 12th Chair Mixed; Caroline Senter, 1st Chair Treble; Mary Gavin, 9th Chair Treble; and Secily Jimenez, 10th Chair Treble.
Bass:
Will Timme, 2nd Chair Mixed; Troy Beckman, 10th Chair Mixed; and Austin Melis, 24th Chair Mixed.
     Alternates include Autumn Moffitt, Alto; and Annie Franklin, Alto.
