The Friendswood Junior High 7B volleyball team are tournament champions defeating Pearland West 25-8, 25-15; Deer Park 25-17, 10-25 and 25-17; Fairmont 25-12, 25-11 and in the championship game, Bonnette 25-12, 16-25 and 25-17. 
          Top servers in order of total points earned were the following: Angela Fancett,  Rachel Barlow, Kaliegh Varner, Lauren Ricker, Staci Board and Hope Woodward.

          Great front line play came from Hope Woodard, Abby Roenne, Corby Brown, Hannah Maetzold and Katherine Harclerode. 
          Super defense was played by Angela Fancett, Staci Board, Lauren Ricker and Kaleigh Varner. 
          “Shelby Allison was there for the first two matches and was a big help before coming down with flu and Maggie Roher helped us prepare for the tournament, but was home sick.  Outstanding team effort!” Coach Ron Brown said.
