Shuttle for Friday night Varsity Football Game
We will be running a spectator shuttle for the Dawson game on Friday. Shuttle will run from Westwood and Windsong starting at 5:30 pm and will continue through the start of the game. Shuttles will stop at the beginning of the game, and will resume midway through the 4th quarter.

 FHS students to compete in robotics with NASA/MIT A decision to enter a challenge has put FHS computer science students in a position to control a satellite in space. Computer science students at Friendswood High School with the assistance of their computer science teacher, Annette Walter, decided to apply for a position to compete in the Zero Robotics National Challenge held in conjunction with the MIT Space Systems Department and NASA. Dogs teach reading at Bales
The Reading with Rover Program is back in Friendswood ISD. This is Bales Intermediate's second year to coordinate the Bales Reading with Rover program. Some returning faces and some new faces were at the first meeting on September 22 in the campus library. This program is designed to build confidence and joy in reading. Students are invited to come read to a dog, ferret or Guinea pig each Wednesday after school. Find out more >>

 Friendswood Junior High holds CLEAR meeting/rally
Friendswood Junior High began its fourth year with a CLEAR membership rally in the auditorium of the new campus. Clean Living Encouragement and Responsibility (CLEAR) is a student-led organization that helps to change norms about alcohol and substance abuse. CLEAR sponsors Beth Pavelka, Corey Dalton, Jermaine Sonnier and Christina Holt welcomed 170 new members into the organization at the meeting. Sixth grader Aleah Thomas won a free CLEAR t-shirt for correctly telling the group what CLEAR stand for. Read on >>

 FJH 8A Mustang VB team wins another championship Friendswood Junior High's 8A Mustang volleyball team added another championship title to their season at the McAdams Tournament in Dickinson recently. Pre-Game Dinners Before Varsity Home Football Games
October 1 @ 5 pm: FHS Choir Spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert, iced tea or water for $8 per ticket. The high school choirs will all be performing, featuring the combined choirs in "Mambo Italiano." The combined women's choirs will sing "If My Friends Could See Me Now". The Concert Men's Choir will perform "Brown-Eyed Girl' and the Campus Singers will present "Singin' in the Rain." Choirs from Cline Elementary and Friendswood Junior High School will also perform that evening. The performances will start at approximately 5:15 pm and conclude at 6 pm. October 15 @ 5 pm: Jr. ClassDinner is $6/Child's plate, $9/Adult plateBBQ Brisket, Summer Sausage, 2 sides, Bread, Drink (Tea, Soda, or Water), Variety of Desserts / Silent auction will be online.
