Students and teachers at Cline Elementary are familiar with a student wandering around the halls in the mornings between 6:45 and 7:10 am. He is the son of a teacher who comes with her to school as he waits to leave for his campus on time.
What they are not used to is his new look. Dylan Bertasz has worn what he referred to as a “surfer hairdo” for three years.
He is now sporting a more trendy look after deciding to cut it. He wanted to donate his hair to Locks of Love.
“He had an incredible amount of thick hair,” Dallas Bertasz, his mom, said. “It definitely went to a good cause.”
His hair provided four large braids of glossy, healthy hair.
His mom, Dallas Bertasz, is an elementary differentiation specialist for FISD.
