It arrived at FHS Feb. 28 as a plain white cow and it left with a much different "look."
The lifesize ceramic cow was part of the Lucerne Dairy Contest.
AP art students submitted and entered the designs for a cow in the contest. The entries were judged against other students from around the country.
Jack Corpening's design was one of 30 that were chosen. He had from Feb. 28 through March to paint his design on the cow and have pictures of the finished product sent by April 1.
These pictures will then be judged by a panel including a Pixar artist. But what about the actual cow? The FHS figure named Celeste will be on display at Randall’s supermarket in Pearland.
“We will find out if Jack is the winner sometime in early May,” art teacher Jenifer Sundrla said.
