Seven Friendswood High School choir members are advancing to Area auditions following auditions.
           The auditions were held at Clear Creek High School on Nov. 30.
           The seven FHS Choir members advanced to the final audition for the Texas All-State Choir.  The audition included both singing and sight-reading rounds. 
           Only 40 students are selected from the 15 participating schools in the region.
           Advancing to the Area audition in January are the following: Kalli Delka, Soprano 1; Katie Barton, Soprano 2; Audrey Bounds, Alto 1; Meredith DuBose, Alto 1; Vinnie Mahal, Tenor 1 (ranked first in his section); Jeff Allison, Bass 1; and  David Zurawski, Bass 2.
           FHS Choir Directors are Janwin Overstreet-Goode and Beth Wallace.
