Friendswood FFA students recently participated in the San Antonio Livestock show. Members attending include Macy Taliaferro, Brianna Stafford, Sarah Velky, Hayley Van Riper and Shelby Giles. 
    Brianna Stafford showed an Angus while Sarah Velky showed a Red Brangus and won first in Class.
    Hayley Van Riper showed a Maine Anjou cow and calf pair and won third in Class, Shelby Giles showed a Simmental and won first in Class.
    Macy Taliaferro showed a Simbrah and won tenth in Class.
    They will be showing at the Houston Livestock Show in March and Galveston County Livestock show in April.
   "These FFA students have worked hard all year raising their heifers. Shows are open to the public, so come on out and give our kids some support," FFA Sponsor Trevor Reifel said.
