Windsong Intermediate students recently accepted a design challenge to create a Logo for the new Windsong Literacy Library. Entries were judged on creativity and design skill. They could be drawn or computer generated.

Jose Camacho placed first with a design based on the initials of the Windsong Literacy Library and symbols important to the library and the school; Nathaniel Irby, placed second with a computer generated design using Windsong colors and literacy symbols; and 4th grader, Allie Hansen, placed third with a hand drawn design featuring a Windsong Mustang atop an open book.

The winners were awarded gift cards to Barnes & Noble for their hard work and design skill. Watch for the logos on the Windsong website and on information about the Literacy Library.
