The Wranglerettes went up against some tough competition last weekend at Crowd Pleasers State at Cy Falls High School last weekend and came out on top, according to Dance Director Kara Baker.
The Wranglerettes were the highest scoring team not only in a very competitive large division, but overall across all size divisions.
Their team jazz routine was the highest scoring dance of the entire contest. They placed first in Team Kick and Jazz, and second runner up in Team Pom and Lyrical. They won a precision merit award, technique award and choreography awards for jazz, pom and lyrical.
The dance officers won first in jazz, hip hop and lyrical. They won a technique award, a Crowd Pleaser Award for officer jazz, and choreography awards for their jazz and lyrical.
The Social Officers won their division.
The Dream Ensemble won first place in medium ensembles.
Bianca Buentello was named a solo finalists and placed third runner Up.
Other teams in attendance included Colleyville Heritage, Langham Creek, Ft. Bend Dulles, Ft. Bend Austin, Clear Lake, Clear Springs, Klein, and Deer Park High Schools.
