Friendswood High School Technology Students of America (TSA) students competed May 5-7 at State recently and many awards were won by the group.
In Chapter Awards, the FHS group placed third in Chapter High Point Score.
Cristine Kristof will represent Friendswood at the National TSA Contest in June.
Three students placed in the top ten percent for National Qualifying events. They include Zach Brinkman, Michelle Dupont, and Cristine Kristof who placed in two events.
Students who were named Best in State include Blake Crawford, Michelle Dupont (with five projects), Derek Janak, Henry Sharp and Aaron Walker.
Superior Ratings were given to Alex Blomstedt (2 projects), Blake Crawford (2 projects), Michelle Dupont (14 projects), Derek Janak (1 project), Veronica Laza (1 project), Henry Sharp (2 projects), and Aaron Walker (2 projects).
Excellent Ratings were given to Michelle Dupont (2 projects), Hayden Faust (1 project), Mitchell Mills (1 project), Duncan Price (1 project), Cody Richardson (1 project), and Kristen Wankowski (2 projects).
Good ratings were given to Ross l’Anson (1 project) and Mitchell Mills (1 project).
