Friendswood Jr. High students participated in this year's first Theatre Festival at Fairview Jr. High in Alvin. From FJH, 46 students attended.
          The FJH students entered 174 events and came home with 123 Superior ratings and 41 Excellent ratings. 
          In addition, Friendswood Jr. High earned the most "5-Star" trophies out of 12 schools. 
           The 13 "5-Star" winners were Halley South, Alexis Taylor, Katherine Harclerode, Riley Peterson, Katie Postell, Alejandra Martinez, Ashley Cao, Rachel Cao, Caitlin Pray, Katherine Azbill, Bobbie Cooney, Noelle Zoch, and Brianna Banda. 
          These students entered five events and earned either five Superior ratings or four Superiors  and one Excellent rating. 
          Drama teachers Lana Garcia and Amanda Hartley are very proud of these students and reported the next festival will be November 13 at Victory Lakes Intermediate.
