A new, "greener" flyer policy is being put into place at Friendswood ISD. Look to see the new eCommunity of events and happenings that would interest parents and students.
Only 3 days a year will flyers go home in K-5 folders. No central locations will be needed on campuses. Parents and students will find what's up on the website at each campus. |

FISD Parents,
Thank you for all you do for Friendswood ISD!
In these difficult economic times after FISD balanced their budget with a $800,000-plus shortfall and then fulfilled a new state unfunded mandate for increases in salaries, it is the Friendswood ISD Education Foundation that keeps enriching our students with creative curriculum and needed resources that the normal budget can no longer supply.
We are offering YOU a chance to give creative grants to FISD teachers by being part of the new Community Honor Roll for parents and community partners. Join our directors and School Board members who gave $100 each for grants that will offer programs, initiatives and projects to take FISD students to the next levels of understanding.
With a minimum of $100, each set of parents will be able to offer grants in the name of the 2010 Community Honor Roll. Members will be offered a chance to attend the Prize Patrol to deliver grants and also a chance to participate in all other Friendswood ISD Education Foundation activities.
For each $100 donated to the FEF, an attractive yard sign and car decal will be sent to you.
Signs are already going out all over town. Please consider making the Friendswood Education Foundation YOUR CHARITY OF CHOICE.
Signs, decal and receipt of giving will be delivered to you! |
