Windsong EntergyWindsong learns about alternative energies
In Margaret Isaac's Science class at Windsong Intermediate, the students have been learning about alternative energies.  They have been involved in discussions that have involved the pros and cons of solar, thermal, wind and hydro energy.  The students were then given the task of building a solar car as well as a sail car that would travel as least one meter in distance.  Once their tasks were complete they raced their cars.  What a fun way to learn about the different types of alternative energy that might be what future generations may be using.  Race winners:  Chris Chao, Emily Dundee, Michelle Finch, Tabitha Lee, Ryan Oliver and Jessica Rodriguez.
