Three FHS Boys Track Team members placed in the top 3 at the district meet held at FHS recently and will be advancing to Regionals.

Austin Slone placed first in the triple jump and second place in the long jump. Brandon Swidler received first place in the 3200 meter run; James Gregory was awarded second place in the 3200 meter run; Trevor Reed received second place in discus; and James VanMatre was awarded second place in pole vault.

Also placing for the Mustangs were Austin Slone with fourth place in high jump; R.J. Lowery in fifth place in the 3200 meter run; and Daniel Wright in sixth place in the triple jump and long jump.

The following ladies placed at the district meet and will be advancing on to regionals: Mauri Wood in second in Pole Vault; Kim Brown in third in Pole Vault; Cheryl Bueche in third place in triple jump and District Champ for High Jump;  Beth Armstrong in third in the 3200; and Maddie Murphy as District Champ in the 3200.

Several members also placed. Cheryl Bueche received fourth place in pole vault; Shannon Reinert was fourth place in triple jump; Kelsey Wood was awarded eighth place in triple jump; Hannah Rogers with sixth place in discus; Kelsey Kaufhold in fifth place in shot; and Yaneti Rubio with seventh place in the 3200.
