Why McCabe joined the Board:  I was fortunate to have had access to strong schools and as such, I understand how quality education is a stepping stone to success.   One of the primary reasons Liz and I decided to raise our family in Friendswood was the exceptional education opportunity the District presented.  As the boys have grown and attended school, I wanted to assist in continuing the District’s success for my sons and the children of Friendswood. 

What he  hopes to accomplish:   While FISD is already an example for the other school districts in the state, I would like to see us continue our success and to keep looking for better ways to prepare our children for college and the business world.
