Second grade students choose a biography of a famous person to research his/her
life and accomplishments. Students prepare and perform oral scripts at Open

Blue Santa – Each year the students at Cline Elementary partner with the Friendswood
Police Department’s Blue Santa program to collect and distribute toys and games
For needy families in our surrounding area
After school classes – If students like to move, they can choose Cline Fit, Fun N’ Games,
Basketball, Flag Football, and many other sport related activities. There are also
science and art classes for students.
Watt Watchers keep an eye on lights being used when not needed. Notes are left as reminders to turn off the lights when not in use. Along with recycling, we strive to encourage conservation and energy efficiency.
Third grade students can participate in the annual Spelling Bee. The students benefit by becoming better spellers with a greater vocabulary and learn the importance of good sportsmanship and had the opportunity to speak before a crowd.
Cline Elementary is a proud member of the H.O.M.E. family. “Help Our Military Endure” is a non-profit organization whose goal is to send packages of much needed items and letters of encouragement and love from children to our military serving in far away countries.
Veteran’s Day – Our first grade program honored our Veteran’s with an amazing display of musical voices singing about how much Americans love Veteran’s who protected the country and those who are still protecting the country. The student’s individually honored Veteran’s and those in active duty that attended the program |
