- 2005, 2006, 2007 - Friendswood High School
named to a statewide honor roll for best performance in Texas
by the Just for Kids and the Texas Business and Education
Coalition for two years. The Honor Roll Schools are the most
consistent performers in educating all student groups over a
three-year period of time and rank highest in their individual
peer groups, which are the schools across the state that most
closely approximate their size and student population makeup.
TBEC volunteer teams visit all Honor Roll schools to confirm
the performance data and evaluate the schools. In addition to
information about the schools, TBEC makes a wide variety of information
about public education available on its website.
