Skate Night
by Jenna H.

On January 28, the fourth graders put on their skates and went to Pearwood Skate Center. Thanks to the wonderful PTO who planned our skate night.   At the Pearwood Skate Center, the fourth graders had a chance to skate and have fun with their friends.  There were songs played that everyone danced to like the Hokey Pokey, Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide, and Crank that Soulja Boy.  Many people danced to them. Even Mrs. Jones, our counselor, took a try.
When the races began, everyone was excited.  They divided us into four groups so there was a winner from each group.  The winners received ice cream sandwiches.  Everyone enjoyed fourth grade skate night and were glad they came.

Students brought their own skates or rented skates when they arrived.

Hanging out with friends is always more fun
when you know you aren’t getting in trouble for talking!
Thank you for a a great time!
We are looking forward to next year!
