Bibliography
Guidelines
Listed below are examples of different types of resources and
the information needed to do a bibliography. At the end is an example
of a completed bibliography. These guidelines are adapted from
the Modern Language Association Stylesheet.

The sources, books, magazines or encyclopedias you have used are
listed on a separate page. You must list the information in a very
exact manner so the reader will be able to locate this information in
any library.
- Sources are alphabetized by the first word of the entries.
This is often the author's last name.
- The sources are not numbered.
- The first lines of each entry should be in a straight line
down the page. The second and following lines of each entry are
indented five space and kept in a straight line.
- Skip one line between each source
- Carefully follow the order and punctuation as described above
for each of the different kinds of sources.
- URLs (Web addresses) must be in angle brackets.
<http://www.______________>
- End with a period.
- DD Mo. YYYY = Date Month Year - For example, November 28, 2001
= 28 Nov. 2001.
Here is an example of what a bibliography looks like.
