Westwood's equipment is 37 years old, JH equipment is 42 years old.

TRACK
Replace High School track with metric track. Current track has noticeable holes which kept it from hosting UIL track events. When it is FISD's time to host a track event, the district must pay another ISD to host the event due to a track not able to safely host an event. Upgrade P.A. system.

CEILINGS
Install drop ceilings for library, cafeteria, and nineteen class rooms at Westwood. The current ceilings are spray on cellulose which is not top quality. New ceiling would have more evenly distributed lighting and air.

Fire Alarm Upgrades at Cline, WW, JH, and HS
Jr. High and High School currently have mixed systems, old with new. Upgrades would be to install addressable detectors and move all old areas at these two schools to the newer panels. Cline and Westwood will need new panels. Additional pull stations and A/V's to meet code. Meets current codes (grandfathered) as long as major renovation is not done to building. Components have to be repaired, Replacement parts not available.

Close in walls, renovate HVAC system at Cline
Includes walls and doors for 38 class rooms, thermostats, damper controls, and variable drives for air handlers. Principals have requested need for noise control with faculty complaints that the open area is too noisy for teaching. Multiple complaints for hot and cold areas. (Walls put in previously have disrupted HVAC original design from 1980.)

District wide site work, sidewalks, parking, and drainage
Includes replacement of sunken or elevated sidewalks, concrete parking repairs, drainage of standing water. Would eliminate trip hazards. Deteriorating concrete, drainage swells that are filling in, and standing water around buildings.

District phone system upgrades
Cline can not dial in or receive incoming calls to classrooms, no voice messaging. Bales does not have voicemail capabilities or night mode. High School is a mix of old and new systems, most teachers cannot call out from their rooms. Would supply equity in communications of teachers district wide.

High School Main Building water line replacement
Replace old schedule 20 PVC with copper piping. Old PVC is very susceptible to cracking, has already caused one major flood and a couple of smaller ones. Never know when the next water line break will be, especially those that happen after hours.

Auditorium catwalk for stage light adjustments.
Catwalk at ceiling that allows for safe adjustment to lights. Does not include fly space for sets. This is a safety issue for students.

Convert football field to multipurpose field
Consists of new artificial surface and drainage. The field is currently used by football players. Other sports and extracurricular groups (band, for example) cannot use the field due to detrimental effects to the natural landscaping. A multipurpose field would allow multi-usage throughout the year.

Stadium storage/ locker room for track/ soccer
Includes demolition of old visitor's side concession and erection of one 55 x 45 metal building with brick veneer. Building includes lockers and showers for soccer and track teams, and could be used as visitors locker room.
