Exemplary is a perfect word to describe C. W. Cline Elementary. A staff of approximately 75 provides an outstanding learning environment for students in a preschool program through grade 3.

Principal, Debbie Smith received her M. Ed. from the University of St. Thomas. She has 31 years of experience in education, including 19 years at C. W. Cline.

Barry Clifford is the Assistant Principal. Barry came to Cline last year from Friendswood High School where he was a soccer/football coach and the world languages team leader.

Together Debbie and Barry will utilize their experience and passion for teaching to maintain the high standards at Cline and lead a wonderful staff.

"I believe you could describe our school as a school with HEART. We want the child to know we care before we ever attempt to teach any curriculum. We want our parents to feel we are all a part of one family and this is their school."

Cline has a very sophisticated curriculum which adheres to the Texas State required T.E.K.S. Our music program has piano keyboards and handbells which are used to teach every single child to read and write music.

A "hands-on" science program is a cooperative effort between classroom instruction and P.T.O. volunteers as lab situations are used to motivate a continuing love of science.

Art, drama, p.e., library, and technology are all a part of the instructional menu of this challenging school curriculum.
