- Francis Levisee from Texas First Bank,
presented books to C. W. Cline's First Grade teachers. "Don't
Laugh at Me" was originally a song recorded by Peter, Paul,
and Mary. The universal message of the song inspired a book aimed
at children to teach them tolerance and acceptance of the differences
in others. The book speaks to children about the differences all
people have and how it hurts to call others names or to point
out their differences in a harmful way. Texas First Bank purchased
the book, Don't Laugh at Me, for every First Grade Teacher and
library in each school district that has a bank location.
