MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to all graduates of Friendswood High School
and their spouses, former students, teachers, and friends of
FISD. Annual dues are only $10 per person.
Your participation and membership will make the FISD Alumni Association
one of the best anywhere! We look forward to hearing from you.

soon as possible.

SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
5th ANNUAL FISD ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP
The 5th Annual Alumni Scholarship, offered to FHS graduates who
plan to continue post high school at a Community College, University,
or trade school, has been awarded to two students. 2007 recipients
Erik Firouzbaht and Kelly Wright each will receive $2000 scholarships.

Alumni draws
2 scholarships
Members of the Alumni Association were present at the May School
Board meetingt to draw the names of 2 FHS seniors to receive
$2000 scholarships. Board members Denise Ruiz and Brandon Burris
drew the following two names: Erik Firouzbaht and Kelly Wright. |

Kelly Wright
plans to attend Texas A&M University to major in biomedical
science. While at FHS, she served as head cheerleader, Ultimate
Frisbee Club historian, and a member of PALS, Link Crew, Young
Life, National Honor Society, Superintendent's Student Advisory
Committee, Student Council and Interact. She also was a chorus
member in the annual musical.
Eric Firouzbakht
will attend the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University
and plans to study law following his four-year degree. At FHS,
Eric was a four-year member of National Honor Society and a member
of the State Championship Academic Decathlon team. He won first
place for his science fair project in the Environmental Sciences
category at the Houston Science and Engineering Fair. He was
one of three students his sophomore year to attend the state
science fair in San Antonio.
