- The Friendswood Independent School District is fully accredited
by the Texas Education Agency, the district's curriculum emphasizes
basic academic skills, higher academic thinking skills, and cooperative
learning strategies. The district is dedicated to meeting the
needs of students of all levels of ability.
FISD offers its students varied learning opportunities from
robotics to the learning activities in the outdoor nature center
using time lapsed photography to capture real world learning
experiences. The District has high expectations for its students
in both academics and extracurricular programs.
