A summer school program for English as a Second Language (ESL) students going into kindergarten or first grade in 2010-2011 will be held Monday through Thursday in Friendswood ISD.
            The program is for students currently classified as ESL or for kids who speak English as a second language in their homes and meet the testing criteria for ESL.  Any student who meets this criteria is welcome to attend.

             There is no enrollment date; students need only show up on the first day or any of the days class is in session.  Students that cannot attend all summer are still welcome for the dates they will be able to attend.
            Location will be Bales Intermediate where all of FISD’s summer activities will be located.
            Hours will be from 8:15 to 12:15 Monday through Thursday beginning June 14 through August 3.
            FISD will not provide transportation.
            Students are asked to bring a snack and drink with them each day.

Vamos a ofrecerse este verano el programa de ingles como segunda lengua (ESL) para estudiantes que van a ir a kindergarten o’ al primer grado en el 2010-2011 ano escolar. Este programa  es para niños que están clasificados en el programa ESL o’ para los niños que hablan ingles como su segunda lengua en sus hogares y que llenan los requisitos de el ESL.Todo estudiante que llene los requisitos es bienvenido. Friendswood va a enviar cartas a los hogares de padres de ESL,también vamos a poner notas en los periódicos enviar mensajero la computadora. No hay un día para se inscriban los niños,solamente preséntese el primer día de clases o cualquier otro día de clases.
Los estudiantes que no pueden venir todo el verano pueden venir cuando puedan. Todos son bienvenidos.

NOTA IMPORTANTE: No hay transportación. Los padres tienen que llevar a los niños>
Los niños deben de traer comida y bebida.
