Friendswood High School had 17 students compete at State Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) conference. 
        Seven FHS HOSA students will compete at the National level in June in Orlando, Florida.
        Kandace Updegrove and Brian Jacobs will compete in EMT category. Steven Yospur and Paige Hass will compete in CERT.

        Brandon Johnson will compete in Sports Medicine.
        Courtney Crouse competes in the National Recognition Project and Diandra (DeDe) White will compete nationally in the Newsletter category.
        Other students who worked hard to get the state level, but will not be advancing to Nationals, include Beth Armstrong, Kelly Smith, Prachi Mohile, Amber Bradshaw, Ryan Ash, Michael DeNicola, Michael Burke, Jasmin Auzenne, Alex Canales, and Sarah Carrell.
