Friendswood ISD just concluded its 15th annual session of Vital Link, a summer job-shadowing program for 7th graders.
In this week-long experience, students chose areas of professional interest, and business hosts from the community invited small groups of students and teachers in to observe "real world" practices for several days.
This year's hosts included professionals from: City of Friendswood City Manager's office, the Police Department, Armand Bayou, Memorial Hermann SE Hospital, ACC's Radio Broadcast program, Boeing, Creekwood Veterinary Hospital, Bay Area Pet Vet, Heritage Animal Hospital, Dr. Abel, and Friendswood Animal Clinic. |
