Both Bradley and Landon are State Qualifiers. Rachael Moffatt was named Honorable Mention in the Energy and Transportation Category.
In the Special Awards Recipients, the following students earned awards: Nader Asgari-Tari won the American Water Works Association Award; Steven Auzenne the American Meterological Society Award; Ryan Bynum the Greater Houston Dental Society Award; Chelsea Coleman the Houston Academy of Medicine and Harris County Medical Society Award; Shahin Firouzbakht the American Society of Indian Engineers Award; Madeline Landon the American Industrial Hygiene Association Award, American Water Works Award, Gulf Coast Safety and Transportation Group Award; Jasmine Li the Houston Museum of Natural Science internship finalist; Gabriella Quintana the Gulf Coast Environmental Affairs Group; Ariana Rivera the Greater Houston Dental Society Award; and Kristina Todd the Society of Women Engineers Award.
Gabriella Quintana was also awarded the coveted ECH Award for Excellence, a first for our district. This is equivalent to the overall Grand Award for the 9th Grade Division.
“We are very proud of all of our competitors. This three day event can be quite grueling, and they honored our district with exceptional dignity and honor,” FHS sponsor Dawne Welch said.
