Rocks were studied and then transformed for Rocktober Fest at Bales.
      Under the direction of teacher Tierni Sager, the rocks were then judged in four categories: Food/Miscellaneous, Cartoon Character, Animals and Halloween.
      Winners included in Food/Miscellaneous were Audrey O’Neal in first place, Emily Kunkel in second and Riley Roland in third.  

      In Cartoon Character, Brittany Morgan was first, Gina Baker second and Gina Baker third.
      In Animals, Madelyn Niland received first, Ash Cao second and Elise Cobb third.
      In Halloween category, Madeline Rhew received first place, Audrey Gilbreath second, and Christian Robinson third.
