News: Flag retiring ceremony

      Friendswood ISD personnel, parents and other guests are gathering for the ceremony. These Friendswood ISD pupils and scouts do many of the daily flag duties of raising, lowering and caring for the school flags. 
      The students are gathering to see final closure to their school flags. Mark Manusov is the Troop Scout Master in charge, Pack Master Tim Vance will be conducting the ceremony and Rudy Isaac will be instructing the scouts for the flag handling.

      Mr. and Mrs. Jon Johnson, den leaders, will host the event. 
      Limited parking is available.  Car pools are encouraged. 

WHO:  Boy Scout Pack #452 of Mary Queen Catholic Church in Friendswood

WHAT:  will retire various school flags from Friendswood ISD schools in a moving ceremony

WHEN:  Saturday, November 7 at 6 pm

WHERE:  703 Oak in Polly Ranch Estates. 

WHY:  Two flags from Windsong Intermediate, along with one flag each from Bales Intermediate and Cline Elementary need to be retired.
