News: Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy Adults
posted: October 11, 2009

If you have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, but were never able to find the time for lessons, you will want to mark down October 27, 2009, from 6:30-9 pm, on your calendar. That’s when Friendswood ISD Community Education has arranged for Alan Richards to teach his popular Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy Adults.

This ONE-TIME, 2.5 hour class will teach you to play chords on the guitar so you can start playing your favorite songs right away.  If you have wanted to learn the guitar but the time and money involved in private lessons has kept you away, Alan Richards' class is for you.  The easy to understand instruction book and DVD used in class enable you to keep practicing at home.
Alan Richards also discusses some of the common mistakes people make and the hurdles that prevent them from learning the guitar during the class.
You don’t need to know anything about music or the guitar to attend this class.  Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy Adults is designed for the absolute beginner and the emphasis is on fun, not technical perfection.
For more information or to register for the class please call Friendswood ISD Community Education at 281-482-6000.  Be sure to bring your acoustic guitar to class!
