The 8A Lady Mustang Volleyball Team dominated the McAdams Tournament recently.
After stomping Pearland West and Fairmont for the second time, the Mustangs advanced to the championship match.  Bonnette was the team to beat and their fierce serving gave Friendswood some trouble, according to Coach Christina Holt.

The FJH Mustangs worked hard defensively to win the championship in two with scores of 26-24, 28-26.
Star Players include Kailyn Kelledy, Carey Landon, and Hannah Scott as strong servers for the weekend.  Charolette Wright and Alex Whitmarsh had impeccable defensive skills, according to Holt.
Harley Kelly, Meredith Rittenhouse, and Emily Barton worked the net successfully with great hits.  Gabrielle Ruffeno and Jasmine Turner contributed with great tipping.
     “Great job ladies!” Holt said.
