Friendswood FFA hosted an Open House at the Ag Science Barn on Saturday April 2.
           The animal projects were on display to show visitors what animals students have been raising all year.  Food, games and a silent auction were also available.
            The Ag Science Facility is located at 1500 Baker Road in Friendswood.
FHS Ag students are preparing for being part of the Galveston County Fair  held this year April 8 - April 16.
           The Breeding Heifer Show will be April 8 at 6 pm.
           The Market Swine Show is April 10 at 4 pm.
           The Market Goat Show will be followed by the Market Lamb Show April 11 at 5 pm.
           Junior Market Livestock Auction will take place in the Rodeo Arena April 13 at 7 pm.
           The Galveston County Fair is held at Jack Brooks Park in Hitchcock.
           “We encourage the community of Friendswood to come out and support our FHS students involved in the show,” FHS FFA teacher/sponsor Trevor Reifel said.
