Honors and state qualifiers were the end result for FHS at the Tennis Region Tournament held at the Blythe Calfee Tennis Center in Willis April 17-18.
           Conner Callaway and Matt Kibikas defeated Montgomery (2) in the quarterfinals, defeated Foster in the semifinals, and placed second by reaching the finals. They qualify for the state tournament in Austin in May.           
           JoAnn Karam and Kent Tollette in mixed doubles placed fourth.
           Tyler White and Kelsey Young in mixed doubles tied for ninth.
Sarah Westphal and Katie Purdum in girls doubles reached quarterfinals and tied for fifth. Kaitlyn Vu and Hannah Brown in girls double placed fourth.
           Brittany Vu in girls singles reached quarterfinals and tied for ninth.
           Lindsey Watson in girls singles reached semifinals and placed fourth.
           Cody Westphal and Erik Linde reached semifinals in boys doubles and placed fourth.
