Clinefest 2010 is set for Oct. 23, 2010 at the Exemplary elementary campus in Friendswood ISD.
Third grader Nathan Marx won the tee shirt design contest and his work is reflected on all Clinefest materials.
Cline Elementary’s biggest event of the year promises food, fun and family activities. The annual festival hosted by the Cline PTO raises tens of thousands of dollars through its Live and Silent Auction, basket raffles, rides, booths, Cline Spirit Store and food. Some of this year’s food sponsors will be Joe’s BBQ, Sonic, Gringo’s and Freebirds Burritos.
This year, old favorites and new surprises ensure everyone will want to be involved. A raffle winner will enjoy the Grillin' & Chillin' Prize Package; this is a complete Outdoor Kitchen, Giant Water Slide, Frozen Drink Maker, and MORE!
The always anticipated Baskets will go on display October 4 in the main hall at Cline. The Basket committee has been working hard to put together numerous baskets with plenty of the “newest” and “hottest” toys and games of the year.
The PTO extends a special invitation to parents to witness the basket phenomenon firsthand and purchase tickets at Family Lunch Days October 12, 14, 19 and 21. Everyone can buy tickets early to get the discounted price of three tickets for $1.
Student Art Projects will also be available to the highest bidder the day of Clinefest in the Silent Auction. Each grade will have an exciting project to offer parents.
Old favorites like Make-Your-Mark tiles will be sold again this year. Student Art Projects are always a hit. They display each class in a unique way through platters, chip and dip bowls. These awesome items are hand crafted by The Painted Potter with a special touch added from each student at Cline!
Clinefest will also feature a rock wall, train rides, hair and face painting, moon walks, and much, much more. Let’s not forget the opportunity to “flush” one of those teachers!
Staff, parents and community members generously donate their time, talents and money to make the event a great success. All Clinefest proceeds benefit Cline Elementary so mark your calendars on October 23 for this exciting event.
