The newest campus in Friendswood ISD, Friendswood Junior High, will have a dedication ceremony and open house Sunday, September 19 at 3 pm at the Centennial Park campus. (the original date of August 29 has been moved to Sept. 19).
          The new facility houses grades 6,7 and 8 under the guidance of Principal Dana Drew and Associate Principal for Sixth Grade Tammy Pipkin. A tour will follow the dedication ceremony.
          The school is part of the 2007 bond package that also provided the district with its first natatorium as well as renovations to Cline Elementary and Friendswood High School.
          The community is invited. The new campus is located at 1000 Manison Parkway in the back of Centennial Park.
