News: FHS art teacher, area woodworker again chosen to work On Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
posted: August 2, 2010

Friendswood High School art teacher Jenifer Sundrla and local woodworker Jeremy Grubb have both been selected once again to work with the Design Team on “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” lending their artistic skills and expertise.
Both artists participated when the show built a home for the Beach family in Kemah in January, and Grubb also assisted on another episode of the show when they built a home for a family in Tyler, TX.
Sundrla and Grubb are proud and excited to have been selected again to work with the fast-paced, highly imaginative team of TV designers who are creating a spectacular home for the Johnson family. The Johnsons reside in the Third Ward.
Sundrla is an art teacher at Friendswood High School and specializes in painting and murals.
Grubb is an outstanding woodworker with his own shop in South Houston.
The Arts Alliance Center’s mission is to bring the work of local artists to the community, and they are proud that their artists consistently meet the high standards of art and design required to participate on “Extreme Makeover.” The Houston episode of the show is tentatively scheduled to air in late September.
