On Saturday, February 19, the FJH Concert Choir competed in the UIL Vocal Solo & Ensemble Contest, held at Angleton High School. 
           The Concert Choir performed three selections and received a rating of one, or Superior, earning medals for their accomplishment.
           FJH also had one soloist, Miranda Hughes, perform before a contest judge.  She also received a Superior rating. 
           The performing members of the award-winning, superior-rated Concert Choir are Ashley Cao, Rachel Cao, Taylor Carroll, Melissa Cherian, Patricia Cotter, Bree Coyle, Brandi Fruge, Chasitty Garza, Shelbee Goodale-Brown, Mackenzie Harris, Mackenzie Martin-George, Mazlin Massey, Tori McNeil, Madison Schultz, Chelsea Sheehan, Alexis Steele, Ashleigh Thomas, Jade Tully, JoJo Twyford, Taren Velez, Lindsey Woolard, and Mayson Zimmermann.
