Friendswood ISD will hold a public hearing at 7 pm February 14, 2011 in the boardroom of the Administration Building at 302 Laurel to present the FISD annual report of the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS). 
     The Texas Education Agency provides performance data to school districts across Texas with Academic Excellence Indicator System report.
     They system was created by the State Board of Education to produce uniform performance data for all Texas public school systems.
     The purpose of the AEIS is to make the public aware of FISD’s academic performance, in order to compare this district or school(s) with the state average and with the average of districts with similar demographics.
