Friendswood Community Education Karate classes start Thursday, January 13, 2011, in the Snack Bar building of the old Friendswood Junior High School.  The snack bar can be reached from the Woodlawn entrance. 
    Three sessions of Karate are scheduled, January 13-March 31.  The 6:00 pm class is for children ages 5-11 years who are taking Karate for the first time.  The class for children ages 5-11 who are returning students begins at 7:00 pm.  The class for ages 12-70 years runs from 8-9 pm and is for all experience levels.  Students may register during the first three weeks of class.
