Freshman Mustang Band had 10 members who earned positions in the Region 17 9th Grade Region Band auditions at Alvin High School held recently.
        Three first chairs were also awarded at the honor organization.
        These three musicians included Julia Robinson on oboe, Michael Fowler on alto sax, and Natalie Merino on horn.
        The other seven members who earned positions after the audition included Michael Hsu and Savanah Fitzgerald on clarinet, Jillian Strickland on bassoon, Daniel Bradley on horn, David Bordelon on alto sax, James Antal on trombone, and Kyle Beaman on tuba.
