News: Community Ed Karate Starts Now
posted: September 9, 2010

The Friendswood ISD Community Education Karate program is set to start Thursday, September 16, 2010.  Classes will meet at the OLD Friendswood Junior High School, 402 Laurel Drive, in the Cafeteria (not the snack bar area as in past years).  Registration will continue through the first three weeks of class.
Classes for children ages 5-12 years of age begin at 6:30 pm, and classes for ages 13-70 years meet from 7:30-8:30 pm.  Classes last 12 weeks at a cost of $30 per student.  Students may try the first class free of charge to decide if Karate meets their expectations.   Uniforms are required at a cost of $30 and may be purchased at the class.
For additional information, please contact the Community Education office, 281-482-6000, or check the FISD website, www.fisdk12.net.  All Community Education programs are listed under the Community Education Department link.
