Five FHS Choir students succcessfully advanced to the final round of auditions for the Texas All-State Choir at Pearland High School on December 1.
           Ranking first in their sections were Jasmine Li (Alto 2) and Vinnie Mahal (Tenor 1).  Also advancing were David Zurawski (3rd chair, Bass 2), Michael Gregory (4th chair, Bass 2), and Caleb Wimer (5th chair, Bass 2).
           Five students were also named as alternates: Ellie Herder - 1st alternate, Soprano 2; Marissa Froneberger - 2nd alternate, Soprano 2; James Lipscomb - 1st alternate, Tenor 1; Sean Lipscomb - 1st alternate, Tenor 2; and  Nathan Stevens - 2nd alternate, Bass 1.
