Friendswood HS girls soccer player Hannah Perry has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Scholar All American team.
This award is reserved for senior soccer players across the nation who have at least a 3.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale, who have excelled in the sport of soccer, and who have performed service in their community.
Hannah has a 4.0, she has taken many pre-ap and AP classes, has won numerous soccer awards, including the first NSCAA All American last year as a junior, and has volunteered with different groups in the Friendswood community.
She plans to attend the University of Texas after high school and to pursue a degree in computer science.
“She is our second player to earn this special honor, following Kristen Bowen, who won it in 2008,” Coach Laura Peter said. “We congratulate Hannah on a job well done in both the classroom and on the soccer field."
