FHS Academic Decathlon teams received first place for 16 years of competition (from 1993-2008). They have placed in the top three since then. They were second last year at State. They will compete at State competition in San Antonio later this month.
The group won Regional competition for Middle School while Pearland High School won in Large School category. The competition was held at FHS Jan. 21.
The FHS team also received many individual honors.
